One job per page section

A page section should have a recognizable job. An introduction establishes what the site is about; a project example supplies evidence; a contact section explains the next step.

The revised homepage uses that order. The first screen identifies my work and links to the portfolio and resume. Case studies then explain what is available, my contribution, and the limits.

The principle is not a universal word limit. A calculator needs inputs, assumptions, errors, and results together. A case study needs enough detail to withstand questions. The useful test is whether each part helps the visitor make the next decision.
