The brief
A prospective buyer or seller needs to understand the agent’s local experience, find property information worth exploring, and see how to start a conversation. I organized Teresa Comstock’s website around that journey and implemented the public experience through Gelosh Holdings. The work connects a real operating business with a clear digital front door.
My contribution
- Translate the agent’s business into a page hierarchy: who she serves, the properties and areas visitors can explore, and how to contact her.
- Give the agent and property information a consistent visual presentation across desktop and smaller screens.
- Implement the navigation and contact entry points, then review the working pages and the information they expose.
- Keep business ownership clear. The website presents the client’s expertise; it does not replace the agent’s advice or relationship with a buyer or seller.
The experience, step by step
- Meet the agent
Establish identity and the local market the business serves.
- Explore the work
Move into property and area information with visual context.
- Start a conversation
Use a contact or booking entry point relevant to the visitor’s interest.
Decisions that shaped the product
Keep the next action close to the evidence
The agent, properties, and contact path belong in the same journey. A visitor who has found something relevant should be able to move into a conversation without navigating an unrelated application or creating an account.
Let the business lead the design
The important content is the agent’s work and local knowledge. I used the website’s structure and visual hierarchy to make that material easier to understand instead of asking visitors to learn the technology behind it.
Treat contact details as working functionality
A polished page still fails if its phone, email, or booking destination is inconsistent. Contact information is part of acceptance review and maintenance, alongside layout and navigation.
The handoff is part of the product
Client delivery includes the less visible work: deciding which information belongs on the site, keeping business details consistent, and making it clear which account and business own the next interaction. That operational thinking matters as much as the page layout when the goal is a real customer conversation.
